This book is written in a compact, coherent and comprehensive manner and enables the students to have a thorough grasp of the subject in simple and easy language as well as lucid style. A sincere effort has been made to make the subject-matter easier and clearer by giving different illustrations and drawing charts and diagrams mostly drawn from the Indian economy. Critical analysis has also been given at relevant places.

At the end each chapter questions have been given in two parts (1) essay type questions, and (2) short answers type questions. They have been taken from latest question papers of different Indian Universities and public competitive examinations.
